“A group of Utica College students are going to Lobby Day in Albany on Tuesday to support funding for programs that they say have helped them make it to and through college.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s proposed budget calls for cutting funding by 17 percent to three programs that help students at Utica College and other colleges in the state: the Young Scholars Liberty Partnership Program, the Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) and the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP).”
