Albany High School (AHS)

What are you up to now?
I am the Associate Director for LPP at the University at Albany and I am in my last year of Grad school for my MSW at the University at Albany.

How did you get involved with Liberty Partnerships?
A social worker at AHS told me about LPP.

What are some of your favorite activities/programs that you did through Liberty Partnerships?
The atmosphere was amazing it was like a big family. I also loved the field trips and leadership development workshops.

Describe how Liberty partnerships shaped your life both in and out of classroom?
In the classroom it helped build my confidence and out of the classroom, it saved my life.

What are you most proud of?
Being able to work at the program that saved my life.

What advice do you have for current students?
Keep trying, no matter how many times you fall, get back up!
