What year did you graduate high school?

What is the name of the school you attended?
Ogdensburg Free Academy

What are you up to now?
I am serving in the US Army, I am currently stationed in Baumholder, Germany. I am also enrolled in college and attending online classes when I have time outside of the military.

How did you get involved with Liberty Partnerships?
My older sister was in it and had me join!

What are some of your favorite activities/programs that you did through Liberty Partnerships?
My favorite activities was the summer activities. These kept me very busy and connected with other LPP students. I also enjoyed visiting Mrs Butterfield in school. She really cared about all of us, whatever we needed she took care of. She brought us snacks, helped us with homework and had a cool space to hangout with during study halls. But my all time favorite was going to Albany for one weekend and meeting all the other students participating in LPP.

Describe how Liberty partnerships shaped your life both in and out of classroom?
Mrs Butterfield helped me with my homework, keep a busy schedule, visit colleges and figure out what I wanted to do after highschool.

What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of all my accomplishments in the military, I was promoted 6 months early, and have conveyed across Europe with the military. I’m most proud of my choice to join and to not only have my college fully paid for, but to get paid to go to college.

What advice do you have for current students?
If you’re unsure about your path or you lack confidence in yourself for the future, go see Mrs Butterfield (or LPP supervisor) they are life changers for sure! I will never forget mine! Students without good support systems and/or involved parents will thrive off being in the program.
