(FOL) serves as the unified voice of the Liberty Partnerships Programs across New York State. Through strategic outreach, relationship-building, and informed action, FOL elevates the needs of our students, families, and partnering institutions at both state and local levels. Working alongside LPP sites/projects, FOL  helps to ensure that programs have the resources, recognition, and support necessary to deliver high-impact academic, social, and emotional services. Because LPP sites operate within diverse institutions and communities, a coordinated statewide advocacy effort is essential. Together, LPP and FOL work to build a stronger, more responsive system of support for the students who need it most. Our most recent Youth in Government Day was February 10th, 2026. Together, we honor students, alumni, staff, and community members who step up for others in big and small ways—and show that heroes are all around us.
