What did you get out of your time with Liberty Partnership?

The Liberty Partnership Program "Project Prize" was truly a life changing experience. I was afforded the opportunities and resources to reach my full potential. Attending workshops for college prep, job readiness, and performing arts, encouraged me to explore areas of interest, and helped me to excel in my personal and academic endeavors.

Most importantly, I feel privileged to have been surrounded with caring supportive individuals whose focus was to instill determination, perseverance, and a vision that I could overcome any challenges to reach my goals and achieve success.

What are you up to now?

I am a licensed Psychiatric Social Worker, currently employed as a Children and Family Therapist in Albany, NY. I serve the youth population ages 5-18, providing psychotherapy, family support, clinical interventions and linkages to community resources.

I am also an active member of the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, serving as a tutor for the tutoring program, a youth leader for the Youth Ministry and co-coordinator of the Liturgical Praise Dance Ministry.
