What did you get out of your time with Liberty Partnerships?

What I got out of being in the Liberty Partnership Program was the support and confidence a high school student needs to make the transition from high school to college. My wonderful tutors did everything from teaching, to taking me on college tours, and educating me with wise advice. No matter how discouraged I felt with something unfamiliar to me as in college applications, job shadowing, and subjects that I was not strong in, they continued to keep my spirits high and keep pushing me until I conquered what I set out to do. I recommend any city school student to join the LPP program and to take advantage of this excellent program.

What are you up to now?

As of right now I am a sophomore and in my final semester at Onondaga Community College and getting ready to transfer into Lemoyne College. I am on the dean’s list ending my semester with a 3.5 GPA and I am currently in the process of completing my honor society requirements. I am very excited for my scholastic future and to this day I still work with my LPP tutors and they welcome me with open arms.
